What is a GEO audit?
A GEO audit (Generative Engine Optimization) checks whether AI search systems like ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI find a business, understand it correctly and recommend it. Zbinden Software assesses six weighted criteria for this – AI citability, brand authority, E-E-A-T, technical GEO, structured data and platform optimization – and delivers a prioritized action plan.
How does GEO differ from traditional SEO?
Traditional SEO targets rankings in Google's list of links. GEO aims for a business to be named as a source and recommended within the answers of AI systems. The technical basis overlaps, but GEO puts additional weight on citable content, structured data and clear signals about company identity.
Which AI systems are checked in the GEO audit?
The currently most-used AI answer systems are checked: ChatGPT including web search, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews and Gemini.

How does working together work?
It starts with a free 30-minute call to clarify the specific need. For automation, clearly scoped steps follow: a standard process such as automatically capturing networking contacts costs CHF 900 fixed price and is live in one to two weeks. If the process needs more, the Process Check follows (CHF 2'200 fixed price, credited in full if implementation follows), then a custom implementation on quote – Quick Win Automation or AI Agent Starter. For the GEO audit, an analysis report with an action plan follows.
What happens to our data?
The automation runs on your own accounts; I do not store any client data on my side. Before every project, where the data is processed is agreed in writing; the default is Switzerland or the EU. Your data is not used to train AI models, and a data processing agreement under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection governs access and deletion.
What does operation cost after the project?
Operation is optional. Support Essential costs CHF 150 per month for one automation, Support Premium CHF 350 per month for one AI agent. Included are monitoring, fixes when connected applications change and a monthly allowance of hours for small adjustments. Running costs for software and AI services are paid directly to the provider.
